Slow Food Nations 2018

The Slow Food movement started in Italy about 30 years ago, and has fully arrived in Denver, Colorado! Have you checked out the weekend lineup for Slow Food Nations? It’s a free food festival this July 13-15 on Denver's Larimer Square where hands-on culinary workshops, engaging talks and lots of dinners parties are waiting for you.

Slow Food USA aims to revolutionize everyday life to bring people together around good, clean and fair food. The festival theme is Food for Change focusing in connecting food to climate change. Learn where your food comes from, and meet the producers behind your food. The Food for Change tent will present easily digestible, bite-sized conversations that invite you to learn about Slow Food and make real change in your food habits.

Celebrating food to bring culture and communities together. From the Global Street Food Social and a workshop on The Ancient Art of Tortillas, to Italian wines and sake makers, the festival is a window to the global food movement. Got kids? Bring them to the Family Pavilion and learn how to grow, cook and enjoy Slow Food β€” real, delicious, flavorful food. Our kids needs to learn how to make good food choices, too!

Come hang out, have a drink, create food art with your kids and sample your way through the Taste Marketplace. And most importantly connect the dots between food and farmers. Learn more at  www.slowfoodnations.com.
