Whole Roasted Cauliflower
The easiest and yummiest way to cook cauliflower. Here is how:
Ingredients:
1 whole cauliflower head (about 2 pounds)
½ cup (or more) extra virgin olive oil or melted ghee
Kosher salt
Preheat the oven to 375°F and place a rack in the middle position. Trim away the leaves at the bottom of the cauliflower head. Carefully cut off and remove the stem and tough core, but be careful to keep the head intact.
Enjoy!

Happy Seven!
Seven years ago this beautiful 10 pound baby boy joined our family and it was love at first sight! My little baby has turned into the sweetest boy with the kindest heart. He has always loved interacting with people, and was very content observing everything around him. He brings light and love and whole lot of Legos to our family and we love him so so much.
I wish you the happiest 7th birthday, Oscar Race, and I cannot wait to watch you grow! I love being your mama and I'm so very proud of the sweet, funny, smart and kind boy you are. We love you forever! Happy Birthday!

theWhat Love Lunch @Cuyana
I had great time sipping, nibbling, meeting new friends and shopping with the gals from theWhat at Cuyana. If you haven't heard of Cuyana (which means "to love" in Quechua) you should check them out. They believe in style over trends, in quality over quantity, in loving your closet, and believing that fewer, better things left to a fuller, better, life. It's the philosophy I live by as I get older and wiser.
Between now and December 31, 2016 you can get free monogramming with your online purchases by using code: CUYANAWHAT2016. Happy shopping!
Say It Like That
“When you get older, you realize it’s a lot less about your place in the world but your place in you. It’s not how everyone views you, but how you view yourself.” – Natalie Portman
Soba Noodle Salad
This is the easiest and yummiest recipe you must try! All you need is 8 to 10 ounces of cooked buckwheat soba noodles, 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1/2 cup of olive oil, 1/2 cup of vinegar, 1/2 cup of sugar, 2T of Wasabi, half thinly sliced cucumber, and a hand full of mixed greens. Mix all the ingredients and viola.... ready to eat. Thank you Jennie for sharing!
Happy Thanksgiving
Motherhood it's never easy and it's a ton of work, but I am so grateful to have the opportunity to become a mom to these three. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones, wherever you are celebrating.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Perfect 10
Today is my first born's 10th birthday. Definitely bittersweet for me… I know they say it goes by fast, but I want to defy time and make each year last. From the day you were born you have made our lives sweeter and more perfect. We love seeing you grow to be a smart, beautiful, sweet, and caring young lady.
You were the perfect little one who made me a mama for the first time. I've learned so much from you as I try to figure out how to best be a mother and raise you. Motherhood isn’t always easy, but I have never experienced a greater love and joy in my life (next to marriage). Thank you for being the best big sister and bringing sunshine and warmth into our family. We are nothing but proud of the young lady you are becoming.
Happy Birthday to my perfect 10! You might be 10 today, but you will be always our first baby. We love you always and forever!
Happy Birthday Mom Like That!
Well, Hello There!
It’s Dad Like That taking over the Mom Like That blog.
You see, Mom Like That is celebrating her birthday today. A great gift to her would be a like on this post and a follow here, here and here. And if you really like what’s she’s doing and want to wish her a really happy birthday, consider subscribing to her subscription box business Monday Sparkles!
But enough with the commercials, I’m here to tell you all why this Mom has it Like That and why I’m lucky enough to be her husband and our kids are even luckier to have her as a mother. Here's why!
Style!
Style yo! We love her look and sense of style here, here, here, and here.
Family!
She’s simply puts family first. Life wouldn’t be as great without her.
There is simply no other Mom Like That.
We love you Patricia. Happy Birthday!
This was us on Saturday night with the family. We went to a local Teppanyaki restaurant and the couple in the back sat at our table. Prior to seating, they were complete strangers. By the end of the meal, we were friends and they too joined Patricia for her birthday. Fun night.
Wood And Rowan
The other day I was running around with my kids to soccer games, to ballet class, and getting ready for our annual family photo shoot. In the middle of the craziness I decided to go to Wood and Rowan to get a blow out for the shoot (I was gonna do it myself, but let's be real…..). It was the best detour ever! It only took 30 minutes to get my hair done which is gold for this mom on the go.
Wood Rowan is Napa’s newest blow out bar for the working woman or busy moms. They also provide natural nail spa services with all natural non-chemical nail products. If you are looking for a quick polish or to spend an afternoon getting pampered with a wax and blowout from one of their amazing stylists call today to reserve your spot.
Passion Project
When I'm not writing my blog, I'm busy with my other passion project called Monday Sparkles. I co-founded this amazing organization back in November 2015 with a good friend of mine. We are both moms with a common goal to bring positivity, fun, kindness, love, and eco-consciousness into the lives of as many tween girls as possible. We created this platform for the girls to be inspired, to promote self-love, confidence, grow together, and enjoy this transitional stage in life.
Monday Sparkles is a tween subscription box company for girls ages 8-12. Our mission is to reinforce the positive and help girls across the country celebrate this special time and bring Earth, love, and sparkle to their lives one box at a time.
Four times a year, we curate a themed box that contains 4-6 products. Our winter box themed "Be The Light" is inspired by celebration, togetherness, and the love of giving. The holidays always remind us of delicious cooking and sumptuous desserts. A time when communities, families, and friends come together for a big celebration of love and giving. We have curated this box that includes all of this and more! This super fun box is filled with opportunities for your tween to shine bright, be the light, and sparkle someone's day.
We also want to teach our girls the value of giving back. So for each subscription box sold we donate $1 to either a charity or a worthy organization. For our winter box we've teamed up with "Do It For The Love Foundation" which is a wish-granting nonprofit organization that brings people living with life-threatening illnesses, children with severe challenges and wounded veterans to live concerts. Through the healing power of music, their goal is to inspire joy, hope and lasting celebratory memories in the face of severe illness or trauma. Check out what inspired their vision.
So friends now you know what I do besides this blog and taking care of my family. Help us spread the word so we can reach as many doorstep as possible!
Get a gift that is unique and special this holiday.
